Ocho Rios is a prime stop on many Caribbean cruises so you can avoid the crowds by checking out some of the sights near by. Cool off in the clear mountain water at Dunn's River Falls or on a raft as it floats down the White River. And any Bob Marley fan will want to head to his birthplace at Nine Mile and visit the fascinating museum there.
Most of the all-inclusive resorts are clustered around the town of Ocho Rios. But if you'd like a quieter option, stay at one of the excellent resorts at Runaway Bay, a half hour further east.
